There is no law governing the field of air quality regarding molds. Several organizations, such as Health Canada, can inform you. From experience, we can say that molds are found everywhere. Therefore, it is normal to find them indoors. The outdoor air test allows verifying that the molds found indoors are similar to those found outdoors and are in equal or lower quantity. In this case, there would be no contamination in a residence. However, if a mold is found in greater quantity outdoors, or if it is not present at all outdoors, this indicates a problem.
